“Owner of the Throne, al-Majid” (Surah al-Buruj :15)
All praises be to Allah who is al-Majid, the Glorious. He is described as having the attributes of glory, grandeur, greatness and magnificence. He is the One Who is greater, more exalted and magnificent than anything else.
Allah’s glory manifests itself in every corner of the universe. Clouds that carry tons of water in the sky, stars that are millions of light years away, waterfalls that fall with an enormous noise and intensity, unbounded oceans, mountains with snowy summits extending high into the sky and forests inhabited by creatures of countless shapes and sizes are only a few of the glorious things on this earth created by Allah. And how much more infinitely glorious is the Creator than the creation?
“Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious.” (Surah Hud, 11:73)
