“As for those who are wretched, they will be in the Fire, therein is violent exhaling and inhaling for them. They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endured except as your Lord Wills. Indeed your Lord is Fa’alu-l-Lima Yurid (The One Who does what He wills).” (Surah Hud:106-107)
It is from the perfection of Allah’s power and implementation of His Will, that He is able to decree anything that He wishes to do. There is none that can prevent Allah, all praises and glory be to Him, from doing as He Wills. He has no assistant nor any supporter in what He does, rather when He Wills a thing to be He merely says: “Be!” – and it is. Despite the fact that He does what He wills, His Will acts in accordance with His Wisdom. The implementation of His Will is complete and all-encompassing, and Allah, all praises and glory be to Him, is described as having perfect ability and power. He is Al-Fa’alu-l-Lima Yurid, the One Who does what He Wills, and nothing compares to Him.
