“O Mankind! We have created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know each other. Verily the most noble of you in the Sight of Allah is the most pious and God-Fearing of you. Indeed Allah is ‘Alim, Khabir.” (Surah al-Hujurat:13)
“Verily Allah [alone] has the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed Allah is ‘Alim (All-Knowing), Khabir (All-Aware)” (Surah Luqman:34)
SubhaanAllah. The glory of Allah and His intimate knowledge of all things.
Allah, all praises and glory be to Him, is the One whose knowledge encompasses all matters, both inward and outward, secret and open, possible and impossible. He knows all the things that can possibly occur, and all the things that can never occur. He knows the affairs of all of the creation, in the past, present and future, and nothing is hidden from Him.
He, all praises and glory be to Him, even has the knowledge of which land we will die in. It is extraordinary to imagine that the angel of death may await us in a far off land and that unknowingly, we will travel there to meet it. Our death will come upon us and we have no idea when it will arrive. The only thing that we can put our trust in is Allah, knowing that death will certainly come.
